What does this App do?
This SMS-based application provides users with real time status of stocks available on NASDAQ in their mobile phones without the use/need of internet connectivity. The information is retrieved by using data from Google Finance.
How to use this App:
The primary keyword is @nasdaq, which when used with other sub-keywords gives related results. SMS the following to the txtWeb number 9243342000 to get desired results.

I understand you are retriving from goole finance. Can u just do me a favour by addionally retriving the Range (Ie the current high and low price). It will be extremely useful. Pl do it. | Hi Divyahans! Very cool and useful app, I use it every morning to check some stock prices while getting my AM caffeine fix :) Here are a couple ideas from a user perspective... 1) Is there any way I can instruct the app to give me a list of stock updates (that is, my stock portfolio). For example, if I want to follow GOOG, YHOO, INTU and GE ... can I save this list as portfolio '1' ... then I would just type '@NASDAQ 1' and get these 4 stock updates/prices. 2) I've noticed the app pulls stock prices for companies traded outside of Nasdaq ... and even in other countries! Maybe you could claim some other keyword, e.g. @stock or @invest, make it more generic |
