“I am a doctor by profession and engineer by mind. I love to take part in various coding competitions.” His friend told him about txtWeb App Contest called Code Warriors, and that’s how he developed a couple of apps for txtWeb.
That’s Anup Pateria for you! And that’s what txtWeb is all about - being relevant to every user and aspiring App developer.

We spoke to him about his apps and experience and aspirations, and this is what he had to say:
Your Apps on txtWeb:
Which apps do you have on txtWeb currently? Which one is the most popular among users?
I have three apps -- @MailG (Gmail on the go), @forecast and @smsc (SMS Collections). Amongst these, @mailg has the highest hits.
Which app are you most proud of having developed and why?
I am proud of every app that I have developed as I take utmost care in every part of the app-making procedure. But since you ask me, I feel most proud of developing @MailG as it was my first application and received significant hits.
What was your motivation in developing these apps on txtWeb?
The app contest called Code Warriors and the innovative platform motivated me to get my hands ‘dirty’ for apps-making.
Your experience with txtWeb:
What has been your learning while developing apps on txtWeb?
The handling of txtWeb parameters, IMAP SMTP connections etc, were something which increased my knowledge base.
Considering that txtWeb is a platform agnostic, which technology do you use to develop apps on txtWeb?
I use PHP to develop apps on txtWeb.
As a developer, why would you recommend txtWeb platform toother developers?
The compatibility with every mobile in the world and its interactivity makes it highly recommendable.
Other Platforms:
Which are the other platforms you have developed apps on?
I develop apps for Android and Java platforms as well.
How has your experience been on txtWeb vis-a-vis other platforms?
It was very easy for me to develop an app on this platform, as no designing work and no lengthy coding for hours. It was awesome experience.
Which online resources, websites, forums do you often visit and recommend to other developers?
I usually visit Stackoverflow often for PHP, Android development etc. and for Txtweb I recommend Txtweb own forum (Its great).
Who is your role model? What are your personal aspirations?
I am a science lover and Einstein motivates me a lot. My aspiration is to open a software development company larger than Google, Microsoft.
