Like most children were fascinated by ‘flying machines’ in the sky, Ajay wanted to become a pilot in his childhood!!! He studied his engineering from NIT Trichy and is now an IT professional in Pune.
Ajay won the first prize in txtWeb’s recent app contest, Code Warriors. His app, @vinbox, a virtual inbox, creates a back-up of all messages in the web, it impressed the judges for its innovative motive and won Ajay a Samsung’s Galaxy Tab worth INR 26000.
Post the contest, we caught up with Ajay to chat with him about his win and txtWeb’s platform. Here’s a glimpse of that chat -

I developed my app @vinbox, a virtual inbox to help users save their important messages on the web and also share them in various social networks.
What was your experience in the Code Warriors App contest?
My experience was awesome. As the theme was to create an innovative app, it actually made me devise ways in which I could leverage txtWeb platform to solve a common problem.

I used JAVA to build the app and deployed in Google App Engine platform.
As a developer, why would you recommend txtWeb platform to other developers?
