Why this change?

We are always thinking of ways to improve developer experience in the best way possible. The revamp of the website is a big step in that direction. Our objective is to ensure that you have a seamless experience on our website and that your requirements are met. The website has been designed after a lot of research and with taking into consideration the feedback from our developers.  

Here’s a quick glimpse of the changes:

• Browsing through the various services as well as building a new app is easier. We have a new “Create and Publish” app workflow in place that is easy, more intuitive and seamless.
• There is no change at all to any app that you have built on our website.
• There have been a few changes with regards to the terminology used for building apps. This has been done after extensive research to ensure that your experience improves.
• A new step asking developers to provide optional mobile numbers whilst building an app has been introduced. This is a onetime ask and ensures that developers can test their app only through these mobile numbers till it is being developed. Soon, the developers will be able to access their unpublished apps only through these mobile numbers. Published apps don’t get affected in any way. You can change these mobile numbers as per your need at any point in time.

All these changes are pretty straightforward and self-explanatory.
