When we spoke about our last platform and community updates in June this year, we promised you that there were many more to come in the offering. Well, here’s a glimpse of all that we have accomplished in the past two months to make the txtWeb platform an even more enjoyable experience for you.

Platform Updates

• Developers wanted the “Search Functionality” back in our Forum and we have obliged them!! Search the relevant content on the forum and make your development experience easy and smooth.
• My app users complained that, “they have to send a national SMS to use the app". - We heard many developers asking, if txtWeb has local numbers to solve this problem. We have added 20 local numbers in various states across India. This would enable end users to access their content via a local SMS vs a national SMS. To get the list of local numbers, just sms@txtwebnos to 9243342000.
• To ensure a perfect experience for developers building apps, we have introduced the "Registered Mobile Number" feature on txtWeb. This feature ensures that all developers can access their unpublished apps and test them through these registered numbers. before the app goes live. Published apps are not affected in any way.

Community Updates -

• txtWeb won the mBillionth award in the infrastructure category . This coveted award series has been recognizing mobile innovation in South Asia for 3 years now. Here's a big thank you to each one of you. You have helped us reach new heights. You could find more details about the award here
• txtWeb also won the Zinnov Award for "Innovation-Potential to solve Large Scale Problems" this month.
• txtWeb got an opportunity to showcase its platform at the Android Developers Meet held on July 29th in Bangalore. The presentation was well received by one and all.
