27^thMay was when App2Fame took off. Since then, loyal patrons have been continuously following it through all its stages. We are now, finally, at the last stage – Awards ceremony. Slotted for 27^thAug 2011, Bangalore, this will be held in conjugation with an event called Apponomy organised by Pluggd.in

Not only will the rankings across various categories be announced, the nominees will also be given the opportunity during coffee breaks to show the gathering how their apps work, the rationale and how it is implemented.

With an eminent crowd of industry stalwarts and entrepreneurs present there, the nominees will be in a vantage position to take some cues from them and perhaps, understand how the apps can be effectively marketed. Since most of the App2Fame nominees are students or young professionals, needless to emphasise, that this exposure will go a long way in giving them a long-term view of opportunities and possibilities.
