  • Which apps do you have on txtWeb currently? Which one is the most popular among users?

               @www, @smsgps, @tennis, @diary, @localtrain

               @www is most popular among the users

• Which app are you most proud of having developed and why?

It would undoubtedly be @www simply because I wanted to do something like that for long time now. Lots of other apps bring web applications to SMS or information from a database to SMS. This one brings everything else (most of the remaining things rather) on SMS. It has got lots of possibilities. I mean you can check news, scores, Sensex, word meanings, SMS Forwards, Wikipedia articles etc not to mention most of other web-sites all at one place.

• What was your motivation in developing these apps on txtWeb?

Seeing ideas in action in matter of hours, potential reach of SMS apps and of course the ease of development

• Your experience with txtWeb:
  • What has been your learning while developing apps on txtWeb?

                         SMS is in and here to stay.

• Considering that txtWeb is platform agnostic, which technology do you use to develop apps on txtWeb?

PHP

• As a developer, why would you recommend txtWeb platform to other developers?

                      Due to the same reasons I was motivated to create apps on it...

  • Which are the other platforms you have developed apps on?

               None really, except I am working on a facebook application

•   How has your experience been on txtWeb vis-a-vis other platforms?

 Have not really worked enough on other platforms to answer this...

• Which online resources, websites, forums do you often visit and recommend to other developers?

Php.net has got excellent documentation for PHP In addition PHP tutorials on zend.com are great as well. As far as forums are concerned, I would recommend stackoverflow.com. In addition go2web20.net is one great site to know about latest ideas abuzz in world of web 2.0

• Who is your role model? What are your personal aspirations?

I don’t have a single role model as such. You learn different things from different people. I remember Thomas Alva Edison being my earliest role model though. He was an innovator cum entrepreneur and that’s what I aspire to be too...
